Blepharoplasty Cosmetic Eye Bag Surgery
When it comes to leading men, few are as popular as George Clooney. The movie star who appeared in numerous television shows before breaking out with the hit medical drama ER is known by many for his rugged good looks…
The man, who was once voted the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’, recently admitted something that gossip magazines had been whispering about for some time – the fact that he has undergone cosmetic surgery.
When asked if he had ever had cosmetic work done, the star surprisingly admitted to having a Blepharoplasty procedure performed on him. This procedure is done when the skin around the upper and lower eyelids begins to droop or sag with age. The result of the condition can be a tired or ageing look, and is admittedly something most people aren’t seeking in a leading man. Admitting that he no longer wanted to look tired in every picture and role, Clooney had the procedure done and seems quite happy with the result.
After the procedure, Clooney certainly appears more vibrant. His eyes no longer have a small and squinty appearance. Blepharoplasty has effectively removed the droopy skin as well as the small bulges of fat that appeared below his eyes. While many women already felt he was the handiwork of some higher power, the surgery has served to make him an even more attractive leading man.
Blepharoplasty is a common procedure, and many celebrities have undergone the surgery. Perhaps the most notable female to have the procedure is Catherine Zeta Jones. Drooping eyelids are a natural part of the ageing process, but blepharoplasty is a common remedy for the condition. Many people believe that Clooney has also undergone botox injections around his eyes, but if that is the case, then it is a secret he has decided not to share.
It’s always pleasant to see celebrities revealing when they have had a cosmetic procedure instead of denying obvious changes. It helps to promote awareness of the benefits of cosmetic surgery while also allowing people to realise that even celebrities deal with ageing.
As people see these perfect looking stars on TV from day to day, it’s easy to create the disillusion that they simply wake up looking ‘perfect’. Getting old is a natural process that will happen to everyone, and cosmetic surgery is an effective and safe way for the public to naturally fight the cosmetic signs of ageing that appear on our bodies and faces.
